A clear, shared understanding helps the studio feel calm from the beginning. These notes explain how enrollment, payment, missed sessions, group confirmation, and simple studio expectations work.
Saturdays at The Number Garden
All ages are welcome. Reservations are required for each Saturday, 9:30–11:30am Pacific, October 3–November 21, 2026. Arrive and leave within that window. A parent or caregiver must remain on-site and supervise throughout. Multiple caregivers are welcome; this is not a drop-off program.
Returning visits cost $20 for the first child plus $10 per additional sibling. Caregivers attend free.
No refunds for family cancellations or missed visits. Use the reschedule link in your confirmation email at least 24 hours before your booked session to move the whole family to another available Saturday in the pilot. Keep the same child count. Repeat moves are welcome under the same policy; there is no new admission charge for a date change.
If you cannot attend, please use the cancellation link in your confirmation email to release your place. Cancellation does not generate a refund or a credit. For a different child count, email us before making another booking.
If The Number Garden cancels your Saturday, we offer another date or a refund of your admission payment.
Enrollment
Math Mentorship and Chess Studio begin with a free studio visit so fit, scheduling, and availability can be confirmed before payment. Saturdays can be reserved directly; Calendly sends the reservation confirmation.
You will receive a Stripe receipt, and I will follow up by email with confirmation, first-session details, and anything else your family needs before we begin.
Weekday group programs begin once there is enough enrollment for a lively small-group experience. We will confirm availability before sending payment links for conversation-first programs.
If a group does not come together, families will be offered another good-fit option or a full refund.
Payment & Attendance
Math Mentorship and Chess Studio enrollment reserve a student’s recurring place. Missed sessions are not refunded or automatically rescheduled.
If The Number Garden cancels a session, families will receive a make-up, credit, or refund.
Math Mentorship and Chess Studio renew monthly until cancelled. Cancel before the next billing date to avoid the next charge. Partial months are not refunded.
Logistics
Please arrive close to your student's scheduled time and pick up promptly at the end of the session. If something changes, email or text as soon as you can.
Please keep children home when they are sick or likely contagious. We will keep the studio healthier by being conservative and considerate.
Bring any schoolwork, questions, or materials requested for the weekday program. A caregiver remains on-site by default for children age 6 and younger. An independent placement for a six-year-old may be approved in advance. Caregivers stay and participate throughout any program described as parent-child. On Saturdays, caregivers stay and supervise children of every age.
